Do I Need a 4x4 Recovery Kit?

If you are going off-roading then the answer is yes. If you are going off-roading in a relocation, then definitely yes.  If you are going off-roading in a remote location by yourself and you're questioning if you need a Recovery Kit, then don’t go, you're mad... or stay on the sealed roads. Even a traditional recovery kit is better than nothing. These Nylon Recovery Tracks are an essential for sticky situations.   

What do I need in my Recovery Kit for my offroad adventure?

We have a great range of premade kits, but if you are looking to build your own or compliment your existing gear, we always recommend a minimum of 4WD recovery tracks, a shovel, snatch strap and shackles, a 4x4 air compressor kit, rope, a tyre gauge, winch extension strap, high lift jack and a vehicle jack.  This is the very minimum but for budgets that can stretch further or you need more safety options, we’d also recommend an electronic 4x4 winch and a UHF radio or Sat phone.

Do I need a 4WD recovery kit?

If you imagine you will encounter anything other than perfect freshly placed bitumen. Then you should be prepared with the right gear. Despite the fact that you have 4WD cars, some off the beaten track locations can catch drives unprepared. These places are sometimes actually the only places you can have fun, you just need to be prepared with a good recovery kit, which enables superior performance and have a vehicle with 4wd recovery points.
