The Yakima Story

At Yakima, they understand what it takes to make a bold move and what comes of it. We started as a small machine shop in Yakima, Washington. Fast forward to 1984, and we had our name on the map at the Summer Olympics with our aerodynamic fairings. Our acquisition in 1979 by Steve Cole and Don Banducci was a big turning point for us. The decisions made following the acquisition have shaped the company into what it is today. As a result, today, we are, arguably, the leaders in a niche that we helped establish decades ago. Yet, we also continue to stay true to our roots while tapping into the same enthusiasm for the most expansive skies and the open road.
