Towbar rattle and clunking is caused by play between the tow bar receiver and the ball mount tongue. The TAG Anti-Rattle Hitch Shim Kit removes that play by taking up the extra space, so the tongue sits firm in the receiver instead of moving around.

If there is excessive play in hitch receiver this kit may only reduce not solve rattle, this would require purchase of additional shims.
