- 🛡️ Fitment Advice
The first-generation Amarok is known for its wide tub, which suits a canopy particularly well. This FORGED X alloy version closes in the load area with sealed, lockable storage and roof tracks, without the weight of a steel unit.
Will it fit my Volkswagen Amarok?
- Vehicle: Volkswagen Amarok
- Years: 2011–2022
- Tub: Factory dual-cab tub
Fitment questions are normal with canopies. Give us your VIN or build date and we will confirm this is the right one for your Volkswagen Amarok.
Solid Sides or With Windows
Choose Solid Sides if security and a clean look matter most: fully closed panels, no side glass and a glazed lift-up rear door. It suits tools, fleet equipment and anything you would rather keep out of sight.
Choose With Windows for sliding side windows that open from either side. They give you easy access from the side of the vehicle, airflow while camping and a brighter load area.
Key features
- Built from marine-grade 5052 alloy: light, strong and rust-free
- Rated for 150 kg dynamic and 300 kg static roof loads
- Roof tracks accept racks, awnings, boards, solar panels and light bars without any drilling
- Direct-fit compatibility with Yakima track-mount gear, no adaptors needed

- Every opening is sealed and drained to keep dust and water out
- Clamp-on fit using the supplied hardware, so nothing is cut or drilled and it can come off again
- Three years of Australia-wide warranty cover

Expert advice from Brixton 4x4
Talk to people who actually fit out utes. We can advise on the best side-panel option for your Volkswagen Amarok, what to mount on the roof tracks, and what else is worth upgrading before you load up.
Extra weight in the tub is where suspension earns its keep. Have a look at the Bilstein B6 300 kg suspension lift kit for the VW Amarok if your Volkswagen Amarok will be carrying camping and recovery gear most of the time.
