The Next Gen Ford Ranger, Wildtrak & Raptor Tail Assist is a fantastic addition to the tailgate of your New Gen Ford Ranger or Raptor.  The strut system dampens/reduces the weight when opening. Utilising factory mounting points makes the installation a breeze as there is no need to remove the tailgate.

Why is there only 1 tailgate strut for this vehicle?

Newer model vehicles, including the Next Gen Ford range already have a torsion bar in the tailgate to assist with closing.  The additional single HSP Tailgate Strut assist provides the lighter, safe decline of the tailgate.

Suits: Next Gen Ford Ranger & Raptor Next Gen (only requires single tailgate strut for most vehicles, see note below)

NOTE: Single Tailgate Assists are used for vehicles which already have a torsion bar, see image below for refernce.  If your vehicle does not have this, then you will need the dual strut system.
