Installing a suspension lift increases the operating angle of the Constant Velocity (CV) joints, which can place additional strain on both the joints and CV boots, potentially accelerating wear over time. When extended-travel shock absorbers are fitted, the increased suspension droop can also push the CV joints beyond their intended operating range, leading to binding and reduced functionality.
The SuperPro bolt-on differential drop kit is designed to help restore correct front driveline geometry by lowering the front differential approximately 25mm. This adjustment reduces the operating angle of the front axles and CV joints, bringing them closer to their original factory specifications.
By minimising excessive CV angles, the kit helps reduce stress on driveline components, promotes smoother operation and can assist in extending the service life of CV joints and boots, helping to avoid costly repairs or replacements.
