The dual cab 79 Series is a favourite for tradies and touring families who need a proper load-carrying LandCruiser with room for passengers. With a canopy, water, fuel and gear on the tray, the factory rear leaves sag and the front coils struggle under a heavy bar. This EFS kit lifts the dual cab by about 50mm and restores proper load support, with raised coils up front and raised leaf packs at the rear.
Front castor correction bushes are included to bring the steering back into line once the front is lifted, and greasable rear shackles and pins keep the rear end quiet and easy to service.
Choose Your Shock
Elite
An all-round shock for a dual cab that splits its time between work and weekend trips. It keeps the ride comfortable without stepping up to a larger shock body.
- 35mm bore twin-tube design
- Hardened chrome piston rod
- Valving matched to the raised EFS springs
XTR
The heavy-duty pick for a dual cab that carries weight full time or heads into remote country. More oil means steadier damping on long rough roads.
- 40mm bore twin-tube design
- Greater oil capacity than the Elite
- Suited to heavy loads and harsh off-road use
Front Load Options
- 0-50kgs: factory front bar and no extra accessories.
- 50-100kgs: an alloy bar, light bar or driving lights.
- 100-150kgs: a steel bullbar or a bar carrying a winch.
Rear Load Options
- 0-150kgs: a progressive rear spring for an empty or lightly loaded tray.
- 300kgs: a constant load such as a canopy and touring gear.
- 500kgs: heavy constant loads including service bodies, water tanks and a full touring setup.
