The Series 2 GU Patrol wagon remains one of the most popular platforms for long-distance touring in Australia. With a bar, drawers, water and a roof rack added, the factory coils lose height and the wagon wallows. This EFS kit lifts the GU wagon by roughly 50mm with raised coils and matched shocks front and rear.
Castor correction bushes are included for the front so steering feel stays right after the lift.
Choose Your Shock
Elite
A comfortable everyday option for a GU wagon that does family duties and weekend trips.
- 35mm bore twin-tube design
- Hardened 15mm chrome piston rod
- Valving matched to the raised EFS coils
XTR
A larger shock for remote touring and towing, holding its damping over long rough stretches.
- 40mm bore twin-tube design
- More oil volume than the Elite
- Suited to heavy loads and outback roads
Front Load Options
- 0-50kgs: a factory front end or light accessories. Rated for up to about 80kg.
- 100-150kgs: a steel bullbar and winch. Rated for a constant 80-120kg.
Rear Load Options
- 0-150kgs: everyday use with light gear in the back. Rated for up to about 100kg.
- 300kgs: a constant touring load such as drawers, a fridge, water and towing. Rated for a constant 300kg.

Fitment
- Nissan Patrol GU Y61 wagon, Series 2 onwards (February 2000 on)
- Not suitable for the Series 1 GU wagon or the coil cab ute
